This happens EVERY game now, even with my defense in COLLAPSE with a PASSIVE BOX. This is heartbreaking when you have gone 2 1/2 quarters playing stellar defense with the score 1-1, then in the blink of an eye with 2 minutes to go the score is 4-1. He wins all 3 face offs, skates into my d zone, pulls up, and laces snapshots for goals. when the going gets tough, my buddy will start lacing hailmary slapshots from the blue line and or point and typically make 2-3 consecutive goals late in the game to seal the game, one goal after the other. All of a sudden, he wins majority of face-offs while my players don't make a move in the face off circle, again as though there is a delay.Īnother red flag. Another red flag - I used to win 90% of the face offs, and know for a fact the only technique he uses is a tie up. when I hold RT to make crips passes for one timers my puck carrier ends up shooting the puck 9 times out of 10, again, as though the delay is disrupting the AI of my other players to be receptive for a pass. ![]() Now, I cannot execute one timers as though there is a delay in timing on my end where my guy WONT shoot the puck when he receives it, or looks as though he is having a seizure trying to take a shot. I was wearing him out with one timers and went on a 10 game win streak. The most telling red flag is my inability to execute one timers. My guy dangles lifeless and can't grab or throw a punch. seems there is a slight delay on my end that enables him to know my every move and be one step ahead. It has gotten to a point where I can't advance the puck or even pass because he ALWAYS has a defender on my hip pocket stick poking before I can flinch. ![]() His players seem to be moving/skating faster than mine as though they are on 10 all game, swarming around like angry hornets. ![]() My research shows lag switches are only applicable if the user is the host. We can only connect for games if he is the host, otherwise we get ERROR messages and have to log out and try again. ![]() is it possible for someone to gain a competitive advantage with a lag switch for NHL 18? If so, can someone explain the advantages? I have a feeling a buddy of mine whom I play online is using one.
